The products in the Heritage line are made from polyurethane. This is a specialized plastic that has been around for about thirty years. Advances in technology have given this material unique properties. Suspension parts are among the most heavily stressed components on a car and are subjected to enormous stresses

Originally, these parts are made from rubber containing substances that degrade over time. Eventually, the vehicle becomes increasingly unstable and offers less and less control over the suspension geometry.

This leads to accelerated tire wear, instability when braking, and poor handling.

Products in the Heritage line are distinguished by their dark gray color, which preserves the standard appearance of the original rubber parts.

Powerflex has therefore developed a material to overcome these issues. They have engineered a polyurethane compound that allows for the production of parts that are 25 to 30% stiffer than older rubber products, while retaining exactly the same noise-dampening properties.
