This Milltek secondary catalytic converter removal kit is designed for the Audi RS3 Sportback 8P (2011–2012) and Audi TT RS Mk2 2.5 TFSI quattro (2009–2014). It replaces the stock secondary catalytic converters with two replacement pipes to reduce exhaust gas flow restrictions and alter the sound of the turbocharged five-cylinder engine.

Please note: Be sure to verify that the vehicle is equipped with secondary catalytic converters, as some versions do not have them.

The Milltek SSXAU226 kit removes the secondary catalytic converters located on both sides of the exhaust line. These components help treat exhaust gases but also create an additional restriction to their flow.
By replacing these catalysts with 63.5 mm replacement tubes, this mounting promotes a less restricted flow of exhaust gases. This modification can also enhance the distinctive sound of the Audi 2.5 TFSI five-cylinder engine, particularly during acceleration and when revving up.
The kit includes two separate components: a left secondary catalytic converter bypass pipe (MSAU469) and a right secondary catalytic converter bypass pipe (MSAU470). This configuration allows for the replacement of the corresponding components on both sides of the exhaust system.
One of the advantages of this system is its compatibility with Milltek Cat-Back systems and factory rear exhausts. This makes it possible to modify this section of the exhaust without necessarily replacing the entire exhaust system.
This removal applies only to the secondary catalytic converters. It does not replace the primary catalytic converter or the downpipe. The acoustic result depends in particular on the configuration of the exhaust system retained downstream.
