## Description

The Mishimoto oil recuperator for the Ford Mustang GT 5.0 V8 (2018–2023) installs directly onto the PCV system of the 5.0 Coyote Gen 3 engine. It separates the oil contained in the crankcase vapors before they return to the induction system, thereby limiting the presence of oil in the induction system and helping to reduce carbon deposit buildup on the valves.
This partitioned oil recuperator uses a 50-micron bronze filter and an internal baffle that increases air turbulence to improve oil separation. The reservoir is made of machined 6061 aluminum, sealed with Viton O-rings, and has a capacity of 88 ml. The filter and recuperator are fully removable for easy maintenance.
Specifically developed for the Ford Mustang GT S550 equipped with the 5.0 Coyote Gen 3 V8, the kit includes a dedicated mounting bracket and two pre-formed hoses fitted with OEM-style quick connectors. Its placement keeps the catch tank accessible for maintenance while keeping it clear of most intake and supercharger kits. Mishimoto states that installation takes less than 30 minutes.
After installation, Mishimoto recommends checking the catch tank’s contents every 1,000 miles until a maintenance schedule appropriate for the vehicle is determined.
