What is a car pressure gauge used for?

Car pressure gauges allow you to design and install a system to monitor your engine while driving, whether for competition or leisure. Pressure gauges provide you with real-time information on the condition of your engine while it is in use. You can display engine data such as the pressure and temperature of your cooling system, or even the temperature and pressure of your oil. Having access to this information about how your vehicle is running is a real bonus and allows you to anticipate breakdowns (loss of pressure, leaks, overheating and other issues). The different types of car pressure gauges and their characteristics

Gauges differ in how they work, either mechanically or electrically. Some sensors, such as pressure sensors, are available in both versions. Mechanically, a hose connects the pipe to the gauge, and the gauge displays the value accordingly. Electrically, a pressure sensor attached to the pipes converts the pressure into an electrical signal, which is then converted into a value by the gauge. It is important to check the compatibility of existing probes and assemblies with the future pressure gauge. In addition, some probes are calibrated and can only work with certain gauges without modification. For example, VDO fuel level, pressure and temperature gauges only work with VDO pressure gauges, and conversely, VDO probes are required to work with VDO pressure gauges. However, pressure gauges often have adjustment devices to adjust the measurement range or resistance to best match the probes to the gauges, mainly fuel levels, which can be supplied with probes that can be cut to the depth of the tank.
