This Powersprint ferritic chromium stainless steel exhaust insulating wool is heat-resistant up to approx. 1200°C for use as absorption tube liners and muffler fillers.

Stainless steel wool in roll form.
Material width: approx. 100mm.

Total length varies according to winding and material. For example, a 5kg roll of ferritic stainless steel wool can have a material length of between 90 and 100 meters.

In muffler construction, stainless steel wool is mainly used as a sheath for absorption tubes. This is to prevent the blowing out of insulation materials such as E-glass or basalt wool. However, it is also increasingly used to fill the absorption chambers of high-performance silencers.

Powersprint offers exclusively stainless steel wool in ferritic chromium steel, for temperatures up to 1200°C for type SSF-HT.

Products intended for the adaptation of vehicles, for competition purposes, may cause them to be prohibited their use on roads open to public traffic, insofar as they significantly modify the features of the vehicles as described in the official report, issued by the vehicle registration authority : noise, pollution, maximum speed, tire size, etc.
