Forge carbon direct induction kit for Audi RS3 8Y/8V

This Forge carbon fiber direct induction kit is designed to fit the turbo inlet of the Audi RS3 8Y or 8V.

The stock turbo elbow is a cast aluminum part with a 3-inch inlet that tapers down to the stock turbocharger's cold side feed. Forge Motorsport offers and manufactures an improved silicone intake elbow and turbo inlet adapter (FO-FMINLH9 sold separately) that not only increase the intake duct area but also the volumetric capacity. This has been increased to 3.5 inches, making it the largest product available for right-hand drive vehicles (due to space constraints with the brake master cylinder, it is not physically possible to increase this size further). However, this is not an issue on left-hand drive vehicles, and so there are various 4-inch variants available. To ensure that this intake works with the original or aftermarket intake elbows on right-hand drive or left-hand drive vehicles, Forge has incorporated an innovative solution that will be interchangeable if you wish to further improve the performance of your Audi's engine.

The FMINDK47 incorporates and includes modular fittings to accommodate any size of turbo you may choose to use. The machined end of the carbon intake, at the junction with the elbow, features a 4-inch (102 mm) threaded fitting that tapers down to the large 6-inch pleated filter on the intake side. At this alloy junction, the end user can use interchangeable adapters. Thanks to this high adjustability and the significant increase in airflow, this product is suitable for original or aftermarket turbo intake solutions, whether silicone or aluminum. Enthusiasts can thus interchange adapters depending on whether they are using an original or modified configuration. The FMINDK47 fits all configurations of your RS3.

Please note: If you have the same model as shown in photo 3 entitled “Assembly for the US and rest of the world,” you will need the FO-FMBH8 (sold separately) to install the FMINDK47-RS3 intake system.
