RacingLine Turbo Intake Hose for MQB EA888 Gen 3 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI

The RacingLine intake hose, also known as a Turbo Inlet Hose or inlet hose, is designed for MQB-platform vehicles equipped with 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen 3 engines. It replaces the original plastic bellows hose located between the air box and the turbocharger inlet.

This reinforced silicone inlet hose features an optimized diameter, a smooth inner surface, and carefully designed transitions to promote a more consistent airflow to the turbo. RacingLine has compared this Turbo Inlet Hose to the stock hose on a flow bench and reports an improvement in airflow.

The reinforced design provides the necessary rigidity to limit hose deformation under load and heat, while maintaining sufficient flexibility to accommodate engine movement.

The RacingLine intake hose can be installed with the RacingLine R600 intake system, with the stock air box, or with another compatible intake system. It thus optimizes airflow between the intake and the turbo without requiring a complete replacement of the induction system.

The RacingLine range is available in several colors: gloss black, gloss blue, gloss red, and Nardo gray. This allows you to match the appearance of the silicone hose to the engine bay while retaining the same technical specifications.

Note: This Turbo Inlet Hose should not be confused with the RacingLine Turbo 90 Inlet, which is the rigid elbow mounted directly at the turbocharger inlet. EA888 Gen 3B engines equipped with a MAF sensor also use a specific version of the hose.
