Approved by BMW, GM-Opel and MERCEDES for its Extra Fuel Economy properties.
Specially designed for the latest generation of cars, equipped with gasoline or diesel engines, atmospheric or turbo or turbo, indirect or direct injection, meeting Euro 4, 5 or 6 pollution control standards, and requiring an oil either ACEA C3, i.e. high viscosity HTHS (>3.5 mPa.s) and "Mid SAPS", with reduced Sulphated Ash content (≤0.8%), Phosphorus (0.07 ≤ x ≤ 0.09%) and Sulfur (≤ 0.3%), i.e. ACEA C2, i.e. low friction, low HTHS (≥2.9 mPa.s) and "Mid SAPS".

Suitable when a "Fuel Economy" lubricant is required: ACEA C2 standards.
Compatible for catalytic converters (CAT) and DPFs (Diesel Particulate Filters).

Some engines cannot use this type of oil, always check and consult the vehicle's service manual before use.

This Motul maintenance kit for gasoline engines includes a high-performance engine oil and two fuel additives designed to clean and keep the fuel injection system clean. It is designed for routine maintenance in a workshop, combining proper oiling with preventive and corrective measures for the fuel system. MOTUL 8100 X-CLEAN EFE engine oil, with a 5W30 viscosity grade, is supplied in a 5-liter container. It is intended to provide engine oiling within this viscosity class, with a format suitable for oil changes and top-offs on gasoline-powered vehicles compatible with 5W30 oil. Specific approvals and standards are not listed. The pack also includes two petrol engine additives in 300-ml bottles: a petrol injector cleaner and a petrol fuel system maintenance product. The injector cleaner is designed to clean the petrol fuel injection system, which is useful during routine maintenance or when symptoms of fouling are present (irregular operation, loss of performance, excessive fuel consumption). The gasoline injection maintenance product is designed to keep the fuel system clean as a preventative measure between cleaning operations.
