This Powersprint ferritic chromium stainless steel exhaust insulating wool is heat-resistant up to approx. 1200°C for use as absorption tube liners and muffler fillers.

Total length varies according to winding and material. For example, a 5kg roll of ferritic stainless steel wool can have a material length of between 90 and 100 meters.

In muffler construction, stainless steel wool is mainly used as a sheath for absorption tubes. This is to prevent the blowing out of insulation materials such as E-glass or basalt wool. However, it is also increasingly used to fill the absorption chambers of high-performance silencers.

Powersprint offers exclusively stainless steel wool in ferritic chromium steel, for temperatures up to 1200°C for type SSF-HT.
