Silkolene PRO BOOST 1 L is a gasoline octane booster additive designed to reduce pre-ignition and engine detonation. It can be used in a wide variety of gasoline engines in cars and motorcycles, including 2-stroke engines.
When added to fuel, PRO BOOST improves combustion quality and helps provide smoother engine response. Silkolene also notes a cleaning effect on the fuel system, for both carburetor and injection engines.
Octane Booster and Anti-Detonation Agent
PRO BOOST is formulated to combat pre-ignition, also known as detonation. By improving the fuel’s resistance to this phenomenon, it can help improve acceleration and overall engine performance when fuel quality is a limiting factor.
The additive also promotes more complete combustion and helps keep the combustion chamber and fuel system clean, without leaving unwanted deposits.
Compatible with carburetor and fuel injection systems
Silkolene PRO BOOST is suitable for both carburetor and fuel injection systems. It features a “keep clean” effect designed to limit the buildup of deposits in the fuel system and also helps reduce the risk of carburetor icing.
The product is compatible with all types of gasoline and does not damage fuel hoses or fuel filters. It is also compatible with catalytic converters.
Dosage: 1–3%
Silkolene recommends a concentration of 1 to 3% in gasoline. According to the manufacturer’s documentation, accidental overdosing does not cause any adverse effects.
The product contains no lead or aniline and does not require any adjustment to the carburetor’s air-fuel mixture.
