Alcon 4-piston front right brake caliper for Renault Clio 16s - Williams Group A

The Alcon 4-piston front right brake caliper is designed for Renault Clio 16S and Williams models equipped with the Alcon Group A braking system. It uses a radial mounting and pistons with diameters of 41.3 and 44.5 mm.

The hydraulic inlet has a 3/8-24 UNF (-3) female thread. The brake pads compatible with this mounting are the Ferodo FRP1077, available in DS2500 and DS3000 compounds, as well as the CL Brakes Carbone Lorraine 5005W50T16 RC6.

Two rotor sizes are listed for this application: 315 × 28 mm and 325 × 28 mm. The choice depends on the braking configuration and the caliper brackets used.

Mounting and Use

This caliper is designed for the right side of the front axle. Before installation, check the mounting, the caliper’s alignment with the front disk, the hydraulic coupling, and the clearance relative to the front rim. Also check the shape and pad thickness.

Compatibility applies to vehicles equipped with the corresponding Alcon Group A braking system. It does not constitute a recommendation for direct replacement of the original calipers on stock Clio 16S and Williams models.
