The Weber 40 DCOE 40 mm 79°30' butterfly is a replacement part intended for the repair and maintenance of Weber 40 DCOE carburetors. Its 40 mm diameter and specific angle of 79°30' allow it to match the configuration of a carburetor equipped with this type of butterfly.

Mounted on the carburetor shaft, the butterfly regulates the flow of air through the carburetor body based on the throttle opening. Its geometry and positioning are particularly important when the butterfly returns to the closed position.

This 79°30' version should not be confused with the Weber 40 DCOE butterfly at 78°. Although their diameters are identical, the angle of the butterfly results in a different mounting configuration. It is therefore necessary to identify the carburetor’s configuration before selecting a replacement part.
