Powerflex front Wishbone rear bush Volkswagen Golf 4 (2 parts)
The products in the Road Serie range are made from polyurethane. This is a specialized plastic that has been around for some thirty years. Advances have enabled us to endow this material with special properties. Suspension parts are among the most highly stressed components on a car, and are subject to enormous stress.
Originally, these parts were made from rubber containing products that deteriorate with age. Eventually, the vehicle moves more and more, offering less and less control over suspension geometry.
This leads to accelerated tire wear, braking instability and poor roadholding.
So Powerflex created the material to overcome these problems. They have designed a polyurethane compound that makes it possible to manufacture parts 25% to 30% stiffer than older rubber products, while retaining exactly the same noise-absorbing properties.
Why choose products from the Powerflex Road Serie range?
The advantages :
-Better road holding
-Improved chassis performance
- control over the amount of unwanted flex in the suspension
-Better tire contact with the road
-Greater safety and performance
-Elimination of noise, vibration and harshness
-Longer tire life
- Increased safety
Note: the Road Serie range is ideal for tuned cars. It's a good compromise between performance and comfort.
These bushes are directly linked to your stabilizer bar, as well as to your suspension arms and tie-rods, for better shock-absorber performance and reduced wear on moving parts, notably front and rear axle bearings.
