Black Series – for track and motorsport use

The products in the Black Series range are made from polyurethane. This is a specialized plastic that has been around for around thirty years. Advances have given this material special properties. Suspension parts are among the most stressed components on a car and are subject to enormous stresses.

Originally, these parts were made from rubber containing products that deteriorate with age. Over time, the vehicle moves more and more and offers less and less control over the suspension geometry.

This leads to accelerated tire wear, instability when braking, and poor road holding.

The Black Series range stands out because it uses Noir 95A, Powerflex's hardest material.

Powerflex has therefore created a material to overcome these problems. They have designed a polyurethane compound that allows them to manufacture parts that are 25 to 30% stiffer than previous rubber products, while retaining exactly the same noise absorption properties.
