Powerflex Black Series anti-roll bar outer bush 21mm Citroën AX
Black Series – for track and motorsport use
The products in the Black Series range are made from polyurethane. This is a specialized plastic that has been around for around 30 years. Advances have given this material special properties. Suspension parts are among the most stressed components on a car and are subject to enormous stresses.
Originally, these parts were made from rubber containing products that deteriorate with age. Over time, the vehicle moves more and more and offers less and less control over the suspension geometry.
This leads to accelerated tire wear, instability when braking, and poor road holding.
The Black Series range stands out because it uses Noir 95A, Powerflex's hardest material.
Powerflex therefore created the material to overcome these problems. They designed a polyurethane compound that allows them to manufacture parts that are 25 to 30% stiffer than older rubber products, while retaining exactly the same noise absorption properties.
Why choose products from the Powerflex Black Series range?
The advantages
- Maximum control of chassis geometry
- 80% more resistant to load than standard rubber
- 25% stiffer than purple material
- Better handling and chassis performance
- More precise chassis alignment
Note: the Black Series range is suitable for tuned cars.
However, there will be less comfort and a harder, noisier ride.
Not suitable for models with ball-jointed drop links, including Citroën VTS, VTR and Peugeot 106 GTi/Rallye
Sold in pairs
Products intended for vehicle modification for competition purposes may render their use prohibited on public roads, insofar as they significantly alter the vehicle's characteristics as specified in the type-approval certificate issued by the relevant authorities (noise level, pollutant emissions, maximum speed, tire dimensions, etc.).-
