These connecting rod bearings start as original equipment and are then coated with one of the most advanced anti-friction trims available.
This lubricating trim is designed to withstand extreme performance pressures. The use of coated connecting rod bearings improves power and efficiency, extends bearing life and, in the event of an oil pressure drop, provides extended bearing protection, reducing the risk of immediate overheating and seizure.

Note : These bearings are compatible with RS4 2.7T engines provided that S4 2.7T connecting rods are used. The 2.7T S4 and RS4 engines essentially share the same crankshaft, but the RS4 connecting rods have a smaller inside diameter.
By using connecting rods designed for the S4 2.7T with these bushings, you'll get a perfect fit for the RS4.
