This Forge carbon fiber direct intake kit has been designed to fit the turbo inlet of the Audi RS3 (8Y or 8V), RSQ3, TTRS, and Cupra Formentor VZ5.

The original turbo elbow is a cast aluminum part with a 3-inch inlet duct that narrows towards the cold side feed of the original turbocharger. Forge Motorsport offers and manufactures an improved silicone intake elbow and turbo inlet adapter (FO-FMINLH9 sold separately) that not only increases the surface area of the intake duct, but also the volumetric capacity. This has been increased to 3.5 inches, making it the largest product available for right-hand drive vehicles (due to space constraints with the brake master cylinder, it is not physically possible to increase this size further). However, this is not an issue on left-hand drive vehicles, and so there are various 4-inch variants available. To ensure that this intake works with the original or aftermarket intake elbows on right-hand drive or left-hand drive vehicles, Forge has incorporated an innovative solution that will be interchangeable if you want to further improve the performance of your Audi's engine.

The FMINDK47 incorporates and includes modular fittings to accommodate any size of turbo you may choose to use. The machined end of the carbon intake, at the junction with the elbow, features a 4-inch (102 mm) threaded connection that tapers down to the large 6-inch pleated filter on the intake side. At this alloy junction, the end user can utilize interchangeable adapters. Thanks to this high adjustability and the significant increase in airflow, this product is suitable for both OEM and aftermarket turbo intake solutions, whether silicone or aluminum. Enthusiasts can thus interchange adapters depending on whether they are using an OEM or modified configuration. The FMINDK47 fits all configurations of your RS3.
