GREEN FILTER cotton filter maintenance kit

This kit contains a bottle of cleaning fluid and a special lubricant spray for GREEN FILTER cotton filters.

Your air filter should be cleaned between 7,000 and 10,000 km or every six months. The cleaning frequency depends on the environment in which you drive.

Application:

Take a container suitable for the size of your filter and dilute the detergent with warm water (approx. 45°C) in a ratio of 1:5 (1 part detergent to 5 parts water).
Immerse the filter. Using a soft-bristled brush, gently scrub the filter pleats on the dirty side, always facing away from the engine, in the direction of the air flow.
Leave the detergent to work for approximately 5 minutes.
Rinse with clean warm water (approximately 45°C) in the opposite direction to the air flow. Then shake your filter to remove any water. Dry naturally or near a heat source. DO NOT USE HIGH-PRESSURE AIR.
Take the oil sprayer and apply an even coat of oil. Once you have followed this procedure, your air filter will be ready to provide you with the best performance until the next service.
