Reinforced' or MTE-type competition spherical bearings and rod ends are used on axles or areas subject to greater stress.

This Rodobal competition metric male MTE rod end with right-hand thread is made in 3 parts:

  • a forged 42CrMo4 steel body, then hardened
  • an AISI 316 stainless steel ring
  • an inner ball in hardened then hard-chromed 100Cr6 steel.
