This Sparco mechanical extinguisher is an ultra-lightweight, mechanically operated extinguishing system.
The tank is made of CE certified steel (tested to over 40 bars).
The nozzles are made of billets and the fittings are made of metal.
This extinguisher releases an AFFF extinguishing agent to smother the fire.
What is an AFFF agent?
The acronym AFFF, or A3F, stands for 'Floating Filter Forming Agent'. This agent can be premixed in the water, or in a tank inside the extinguisher that, when pressurized, breaks open and releases the additive into the water, acting as a barrier to prevent oxygen from entering.
