ZRP H-Type Forged Connecting Rods for Nissan RB28 - R-NIS-004H

ZRP H-shaped forged connecting rods for building your Nissan RB28 engine are designed for engine builds based on the Nissan RB26. With their specific length of 119.50 mm, they provide a suitable solution for creating a reinforced moving assembly for tuned and heavily loaded engines.

Manufactured from high-strength 4340 steel, these ZRP connecting rods undergo a multi-stage heat treatment and shot peening to improve their fatigue resistance. Their H-shaped design combines mechanical strength with weight optimization to withstand the stresses encountered in high-performance engine builds.

Each set includes 6 matched connecting rods with a weight tolerance specified by ZRP of ±1 g. The connecting rods are equipped with ARP2000 fasteners, and ZRP also offers an upgrade to ARP L19 fasteners for engines subjected to particularly high RPMs or boost levels.

The manufacturing process includes precision CNC machining, connecting rod small ends with radial grooves that serve as oil reservoirs, centering rings to ensure precise repositioning of the connecting rod cap, and Magnaflux testing of the forged connecting rods.
