This Cool It adhesive heat shield provides versatile protection for painted surfaces, plastic components, and any part susceptible to damage from the harmful effects of radiant heat.
Made from woven silica with a flexible aluminized finish, this heat shield combines durability and adaptability, making it an indispensable asset in your race car.

Its highly reflective surface can withstand radiant temperatures of up to 1093°C (2000°F), while its adhesive side is designed to withstand direct temperatures of up to 121°C (250°F).

This versatile product can be used, for example, on battery boxes, electrical wiring harnesses, under-hood electronics, fuel lines and hoses, intake components, external firewalls, side panels, and hoods.
