The AP Racing master cylinder (Ø 19.1 mm), part number CP2623-92PRT115, is designed for hydraulic control of brake and clutch systems in racing applications. Its compact design is particularly well-suited for installations where space is limited.

Its forged aluminum body is lighter than that of the cast aluminum version, offering a weight savings of 50 g. It features a vertical mounting flange, a short stroke before the fluid supply shuts off, and UNF imperial hydraulic threads.

This version features a master cylinder diameter of 19.1 mm - 0.75 in - 3/4 in and a 5/16 inn-24 UNF threaded push rod measuring 115 mm from the mounting flange. Its GREEN plastic clamp allows for quick identification of the diameter.

Color-coded diameter identification

AP Racing master cylinders come with a small colored plastic clamp placed around the body to facilitate identification of their diameter. The part number and nominal diameter are also marked on the body.

The following table applies to push-type master cylinders. This part number features a GREEN clamp corresponding to 19.1 mm - 0.75 in - 3/4 in.

Non-captive rod versions

The CP2623 range also includes non-captive rod versions, available under separate part numbers. These allow the master cylinder to be replaced without removing the pedal or pedal arm rod. The part number CP2623-92PRT115 shown here is a captive rod version.

Replacement Parts and Repair Kit

Repair kit part number: AP Racing CP2623-92RK, sold separately.

Mounting and Connections

Check the mounting, connections, and alignment of the control unit. The 115 mm dimension refers to the length of the rod from the mounting point, not the length of the body. The shaft thread is for the mechanical connection; it is separate from the hydraulic threads.

Master cylinders are individually adjusted during manufacturing: do not interchange push rods, pistons, or internal components between different assemblies.

Photo and Master Cylinder Selection

The photo shows the AP Racing CP2623 range and is not binding with regard to the color of the identification clamp. To select the model suitable for your mounting, refer to the part number and technical specifications provided in this data sheet.

Before ordering, be sure to check the master cylinder diameter, threading, rod length, and fastening type. If you have any questions, our technicians can help you select the correct part number for your setup. Feel free to contact them.
