Tripmaster Monit G-100+ with built-in global positioning system/GNSS for rallying and reconnaissance
The Monit G-100+ tripmaster with built-in global positioning system/GNSS is an on-board computer designed for rally navigation and reconnaissance. It allows the driver or co-driver to accurately measure distances traveled and vehicle speed, with simplified installation thanks to the global positioning system receiver integrated directly into the unit.
The G-100+ simultaneously uses the global positioning system (GPS), GLONASS, and Galileo satellite systems. This extended GNSS coverage improves measurement accuracy in environments where satellite reception may be more difficult, such as narrow valleys, tree-lined roads, or urban areas surrounded by buildings. The system also accounts for vertical variations in distance.
The tripmaster features two independent 5-digit distance counters that can be set to count up or drop. The distance can be quickly adjusted up or down, and a high-resolution mode allows for measurements accurate to the meter. The G-100+ also displays instantaneous speed and records the maximum speed. A built-in stopwatch rounds out the rally-friendly features and can be controlled via a programmable input.
The global positioning system calibration can be adjusted to match the distances displayed by the Monit with those measured by the event organizer. The G-100+ can also operate with a traditional speed sensor or wheel sensor. The global positioning system/GNSS can be completely disabled when its use is not permitted by event regulations.
Compact and lightweight, the Monit G-100+ is suitable for modern, classic, or historic rally cars and can also be used in a reconnaissance vehicle for note-taking. Its interface can be configured in French, English, Spanish, or Italian, and the display can be set to kilometers or miles.
Please note: The Monit external antenna required for global positioning system/GNSS operation is not included with the G-100+ and must be ordered separately.
