The VDO 800 mm tubular fuel dipstick measures the liquid level in the tank and transmits a resistive signal to a compatible gauge. It is mounted using a 5-hole SAE flange on a 54 mm mounting circle.
This reed switch probe outputs 91.0 ? ± 1.0 ? when empty and 1.0 ? ± 1.0 ? when full. Its length is fixed: it must be selected based on the available depth in the tank and the space required beneath the tube.

Compatibility and Mounting
Check the tank depth, the flange, and the direction of resistance change for the indicator. The 54 mm mounting circle is separate from the 40 mm tube diameter. Connection hardware must be provided separately.
