The VDO oil pressure sensor with a short tapered M10x100 connection is used to measure oil pressure. It operates in the range of 0 to 10 bar and outputs a resistive signal intended for a compatible gauge.

The 10 to 184 ? outlet must match the electrical specifications of the gauge or indicator being used. An identical display range alone is not sufficient to guarantee compatibility. The 0.90 bar ± 0.15 bar warning contact provides a function separate from the measurement, designed to activate a compatible warning light.
