Sachs develops 2 ranges of clutches: standard clutches for production cars, and clutches for racing. Although the best possible performance is the objective of both, the constraints and requirements are totally different.
Standard clutches are designed to be fitted as original equipment or replacements on production vehicles, their aim being to provide a good level of driving comfort and agreement. They have been developed to offer the best possible performance, once comfort and reliability requirements have been met. They excel in everyday use and in your car's sporty leisure activities, but their weight, size and design severely limit their use in competition, for which you need to go to the other range, the RCS.
RCS (Racing Clutch system) racing clutches are specifically designed to reduce weight, size and moment of inertia to improve engine acceleration and reduce gear change times. From steel to 100% carbon, Sachs designs and manufactures all types of clutch to achieve the performance and reliability required for all types of riding.
