Adjustable Quick Shifter by Forge Motorsport for Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, and Skoda (6-speed)
The Forge Motorsport FMVWQS adjustable quick shifter reduces the forward/backward compression of the shift handle on many Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, CUPRA, and Skoda models equipped with a compatible 6-speed mechanical transmission.
This Forge short shifter replaces the stock shift mechanism and features a continuously adjustable pivot. This allows the handle travel to be adjusted to the driver’s preferences, ranging from a compression distance close to stock to a maximum reduction of 40%.
The FMVWQS affects the forward/backward movement of the shift handle. It can be used alone with the original lateral mechanism or in combination with the Forge FMVWSQS quick shifter to also reduce lateral compression on compatible vehicles.
Forge Motorsport has developed this quick shifter for the VAG 6-speed transverse mechanical transmissions MQ350, 02M, and 02Q. To confirm compatibility with your vehicle, Forge recommends checking for the origine reference 8J0 711 046 E on the stock shift mechanism.
The kit includes several connecting components to adapt to the various cable controls found on compatible vehicles. After installation, the shift cables must be properly readjusted in accordance with Forge Motorsport’s mounting instructions.
Warning: This quick shifter is not compatible with all VAG 6-speed mechanical transmissions. Forge specifically excludes Skoda Fabia, Volkswagen Polo, SEAT Ibiza, and 1.9 Diesel models, which use different shift mechanisms. If in doubt, check the origin reference of the shift mechanism.
