The Forge FMBH9 oil breather hose is a direct replacement for the original hose on the Renault Mégane 4 RS 280 and RS 300, as well as the Renault Talisman 1.8 TCe. Designed specifically for the engine breather system, it replaces the original rubber hose with a reinforced silicone version.
Forge uses a 4-layer silicone construction, compared to a single ply of rubber in the original hose. This design improves the hose’s resistance and durability in the thermal environment of the engine compartment.
The FMBH9 is designed to handleair containing oil vapors, a critical requirement for its use in the engine crankcase ventilation system. It thus serves as a reinforced replacement for an aging or deteriorated OEM breather hose.
Mounting involves a direct replacement of the OEM hose, with no vehicle modifications required. Available in several colors, it also allows you to coordinate the engine compartment with other Forge silicone hoses, notably the FMKT027 turbo hose kit.
