Road Series – for use on roads and highways

The products in the Road Series range are made from polyurethane. This is a specialized plastic that has been around for around 30 years. Advances have given this material special properties. Suspension parts are among the most heavily used components in a car and are subject to enormous stresses.

Originally, these parts were made from rubber containing products that deteriorate with age. Over time, the vehicle moves more and more and offers less and less control over the suspension geometry.

This leads to accelerated tire wear, unstable braking, and poor road holding.

Powerflex has therefore created a material to overcome these problems. They have designed a polyurethane compound that allows parts to be manufactured that are 25 to 30% stiffer than older rubber products, while retaining exactly the same noise absorption properties.

Made from Black 95A material with a tapered bore to reduce stress during articulation, this bush is suitable for vehicles equipped with an aluminum subframe (original part number 5Q0199369, 5WA199369A and 3Q0199369E) and pressed-steel wishbones only.

For vehicles equipped with a steel cradle, please use part number PFF85-802.

For additional offset adjustment in track/motorsport applications, use part number PFF3-902G.
