Road Series - for highway and expressways

The products in the Road Series range are made of polyurethane. It is a specialized plastic that has been around for about thirty years. Advances have made it possible to endow this material with special properties. Suspension parts are among the most stressed components in a car, and they are subject to enormous stresses.

Originally, these parts were made with products that contained rubber, which deteriorates over time. Over time, the vehicle moves more and more and offers less and less control over the suspension geometry.

This causes accelerated tyre wear, instability in braking and poor road grip.

Powerflex has created a material to overcome these problems. They have designed a polyurethane compound that allows parts to be manufactured between 25 and 30% more rigid than previous rubber products, while maintaining exactly the same noise absorption properties
