Turbo Blanket for the Renault Megane 3 RS

The Forge Motorsport FMTUBL15 has been designed specifically for the Renault Megane Mk3 R.S range stock turbo chargers. This turbo blanket replaces the primitive OE heat shield and is designed to further isolate the radiant heat produced by the turbocharger. The Forge turbo blanket also incorporates further protection to the engines down pipe. 

This design has been created to withstand the harshest of environments and proven to withstand temperatures up to 1370°C (2500°F) of radiant heat, which will assist in protecting and prolonging the life of engine components

Design innovation keeps the heat of the exhaust gases contained within the hot side of the turbocharger, away from the cool side and the intake path which helps reduce turbo lag and air intake temperatures resulting in more power.
