Attention ! Weber carburetors proposed in the GT2i catalog all accept ethanol. However, E85 is hygroscopic and absorbs water unlike gasoline. This phenomenon can generate corrosion in the Weber carburetors if the equipped vehicle is stored or not used for a long period of time. The GT2i team recommends you to anticipate any prolonged stop by running on traditional gasoline to eliminate all traces of water from the carburetion circuit and thus avoid corrosion.
