The OBP pair of adjustable rod end cups for the Volkswagen Golf 7 replaces the upper shock absorber top mounts on the front axle and allows for wheel camber adjustment. This solution is particularly well-suited for cars equipped with a sport suspension or threaded coilovers and enables fine-tuning of alignment settings for sport driving, track use, or competition.

Wheel camber adjustment allows you to change the angle of the front wheels to adapt the alignment to the ride height, tires, and desired handling characteristics. On a modified Golf 7, this additional adjustment allows for more precise tuning of front axle handling and tire grip during cornering.

These shock absorber top mounts provide a more direct connection at the shock absorber’s upper mounting point. This type of setup is particularly beneficial for chassis tuning, complementing threaded coilovers and precise geometry adjustments.

The adjustment system integrated into the cups allows you to adjust the upper position of the shock absorber to set the front axle wheel camber. Both sides can thus be adjusted according to the car’s configuration and intended use.
