The Sytec fuel pressure gauge for carburetors allows you to monitor the feed pressure in low-pressure systems. Its measurement range of 0 to 1 bar / 0 to 15 psi is suitable for checking the pressure delivered to carburetors and for adjusting a fuel pressure controller.

Its 42-mm-diameter dial features dual graduations in bar and psi. The fitting at the bottom has a 1/8 NPTF thread for connection to a pressure tap or a compatible adapter.

This gauge is intended for testing purposes only: it must not remain permanently installed in the fuel system.

Compatibility and Precautions for Use

The Sytec FPG001 is suitable for carburetor systems where the pressure remains within its measurement range. To test a fuel injection system requiring a higher pressure range, choose the Sytec FPG002, which is calibrated from 0 to 7 bar.

Mounting requires a pressure tap or an adapter compatible with the 1/8 NPTF thread. Connect and disconnect the gauge on a depressurized system, then check for leaks before testing. After use, remove the gauge and reseal the system.

Information on the Needle Position

The manufacturer notes that a slight deviation of the needle from neutral may occur after shipping, without affecting the gauge’s operation or accuracy.

Products intended for vehicle modification for competition purposes may render their use prohibited on public roads, insofar as they significantly alter the vehicle's characteristics as specified in the type-approval certificate issued by the relevant authorities (noise level, pollutant emissions, maximum speed, tire dimensions, etc.).
