ODYSSEY Extreme Racing 25 battery

This battery intended for a use in competition allows a saving of place and weight. Indeed, it contains more energy for the same volume. Solid construction thanks to the reinforced welds.

The battery allows a start even with only 20% of the capacity. Its residual capacity is greater and the mass efficiency is higher, at least 30%.

In order for your battery to last a long time, it is imperative to keep it close to full charge, i.e. around 12.8 V. In order to ensure a correct charge, it is imperative to use a specific charger such as C-Tek which ensures a 100% charge (even 108% on certain models). A conventional charger will charge your Odyssey battery up to 80%.

The GT2i Team's advice: never use a battery with a voltage lower than 11.50V! The non-observance of these instructions will lead to a non-application of the guarantee.

The OptiMate 2 DUO battery charger is designed for 12V AGM, GEL, EFB, lead-acid, and LiFePO4 lithium batteries. It automatically charges, diagnoses, and maintains the battery’s charge to preserve its performance, whether the vehicle is used regularly or remains stationary for long periods.

It can also recharge deeply discharged batteries starting at 4 V, while alerting the user when a battery is beyond repair or defective.
Designed for unattended use, this charger effectively protects the battery and the vehicle’s electronics thanks to its built-in safeguards against reverse polarity, short circuits, and overcharging. Its weather-resistant housing allows for use in both garages and workshops.
Supplied with a permanent wiring harness featuring eyelet terminals and a set of battery pliers, the OptiMate 2 DUO can be quickly installed on most compatible vehicles. Once connected, it automatically provides trickle charging to ensure the battery is always ready to start the engine, while helping to extend its service life.
