The CL Brakes RC5+ 5003W40T16 brake pads are designed for AP Racing CP2361 brake calipers and for use in motorsports, particularly in rallying and on the track.

The RC5+ from CL Brakes—a brand also known in motorsports as Carbone Lorraine—is a sintered metal brake pad characterized by an average coefficient of friction of µ = 0.40. Its progressive response makes it easier to modulate braking and provides good performance even at low temperatures.

The RC5+ is particularly well-suited for lightweight competition cars and situations where available traction is limited. In rallying, it is especially well-suited for conditions encountered on dirt, mud, snow, or wet pavement, when precise control and progressive braking are essential.

Compared to CL Brakes compounds with a higher coefficient of friction, the RC5+ provides less aggressive and more easily modulated braking. It can therefore be used for various braking setups in rallying, circuit racing, and track days.
