The CL Brakes RC5+ 5005W50T16 brake pads, also known as Carbone Lorraine, are designed for competition braking systems using the 5005W50 shape and a thickness of 16 mm. Their sintered metal lining has an average coefficient of friction of µ = 0.40.

The RC5+ is suitable for lightweight cars and racing conditions with low traction: gravel, snow, mud, or wet road surfaces.
