This Forge Motorsport intake kit with foam filter is designed for the VW Up 1.0 TSI and GTI. The intake kit includes a custom-made aluminum housing with black powder trim for an OEM look and resistance to corrosion. It serves the dual purpose of protecting the filter from heat buildup.
Since the VW Up’s engine compartment is very compact, the Forge development team faced enormous challenges in finding a suitable location for an aftermarket intake kit.
With gains of 5 bhp and 6 lb/ft of torque across the entire revolutions range, this induction system delivers excellent performance results—not to mention the distinctive sound this induction system gives to this punchy little 1.0-liter engine. Greater gains can, of course, be expected on remapped vehicles.
The Forge silicone hose features a larger inner diameter and a smooth interior finish, ensuring optimal flow.
