The Davies Craig 8003 LCD Digital Controller Kit is designed to automatically manage electric water pumps and cooling fans. This new generation (Gen 7) is equipped with a color LCD screen that provides a clear display of system information, temperature, and operating parameters.
The controller optimizes the operation of the electric water pump and fans to improve engine thermal management. It allows you to set the target temperature for the pump, the fan activation and deactivation temperatures, the post-shutdown operating temperature, and the temperature calibration (±5°C).
It features independent control of two fans, manual control for two fans and an electric water pump, as well as real-time operating indicators for the pump, Fan 1, and Fan 2. The LCD screen also offers multiple brightness levels for optimal readability both day and night.
The controller automatically adjusts the water pump speed based on the cooling fluid temperature and progressively controls the fans according to defined thresholds. After the engine is shut down, it can continue cooling for up to 3 minutes if necessary.
