The Davies Craig EWP80 12 V Aluminum Electric Water Pump Kit, manufacturer part number 8006, includes the pump and the main accessories required for its hydraulic and electrical connections. It can be used to supplement or replace a mechanical water pump in a compatible cooling system.
This centrifugal pump features an aluminum housing with a matte black finish and a ceramic-faced seal. Its electric drive allows the cooling fluid to circulate independently of engine revs.
Despite its EWP80 designation, its maximum rated flow rate reaches 90 L/min at free flow, without back pressure. The actual flow rate depends on the system’s pressure drops. Its 35 mm fittings, supplied in straight and 90° elbow versions, allow for flexible connection orientation.
The digital controller is not included. The supplied wiring harness and relay allow for wiring the pump but do not provide automatic temperature-based control. This function requires a compatible controller, sold separately.

Applications and Installation
Davies Craig specifically designs this EWP80 for atmospheric engines up to 2.0 liters, as well as for auxiliary cooling circuits and air-to-water heat exchangers. The choice of pump must take into account the thermal requirements and characteristics of the circuit.
Installation can be performed either as a supplement to the mechanical pump or as a replacement for it, with the necessary modifications. Follow the instructions for electrical connection, thermostat control, and circuit configuration. If an additional bracket is used, ensure a flexible mounting to minimize the transmission of vibrations.
Products intended for vehicle modification for competition purposes may render their use prohibited on public roads, insofar as they significantly alter the vehicle's characteristics as specified in the type-approval certificate issued by the relevant authorities (noise level, pollutant emissions, maximum speed, tire dimensions, etc.).
