Ferodo's DS1.11 series is a line of brake pads designed for endurance racing. Unlike its competitors, which rely heavily on ceramic materials, Ferodo has chosen to use siloxanes. Unlike carbon-based materials, siloxanes do not decompose at high temperatures, allowing the DS1.11 to perform well beyond the maximum temperatures that brake pads might encounter.
As a result, Ferodo’s DS1.11 pads offer excellent heat resistance, a long service life, and a high coefficient of friction that remains consistent throughout the pad’s lifespan and across the entire temperature range.
Very gentle on rotors, with a coefficient of friction of 0.46 and a temperature range of 200 to 700°C, the DS1.11 pads are ideal for endurance racing in GTs, single-seaters, etc.
Prohibited on public roads.
