The ITG Megaflow JC40 domed air filter is a foam primary filter designed for small twin-carburetor mountings. Its domed shape, referred to as “Sausage” by ITG, offers a different configuration from the straight-sided JC40 model, particularly when the shape of the engine compartment imposes space constraints.
This JC40/S/65 version measures 379 mm long by 142 mm wide. It has an internal height of 65 mm and an external height of 90 mm. The internal height corresponds to the available clearance inside the filter and must be taken into account when verifying the space available around the intake horns or trumpets.
The filter mounts onto an ITG JC40 series base plate, which should be selected based on the carburetor and its mounting configuration. The appropriate base plate is required to complete the Megaflow filtration system.
