The Forge Motorsport FMCP05 reinforced ignition coil for the Hyundai i20 N and Kia/Hyundai 1.6 T-GDI engines was developed to improve the performance and reliability of the ignition system. Designed as a direct replacement for the original Hyundai/Kia 27301-2M417 ignition coil, it installs without modification and is suitable for both stock vehicles and tuned engines.
Thanks to an optimized internal design, this reinforced ignition coil delivers up to 12% more ignition power compared to the OEM part. A more powerful and consistent ignition spark improves combustion of the air/fuel mixture, resulting in better throttle response, more responsive acceleration, and more efficient power delivery.
The FMCP05 also helps reduce the risk of misfires, while ensuring a more stable idle and a constant ignition voltage across the entire engine revs range. Its design also optimizes heat dissipation to maintain reliable and long-lasting performance, even during intensive use on the road, on the track, or in competition.
This reinforced ignition coil is fully Plug & Play and directly replaces the original part without requiring any modifications to the firing harness or reprogramming.
 

Important: This coil is sold individually. To replace all the ignition coils in a 4-cylinder engine, you must order 4 coils.
