ButlerBuilt air vent scoop for oil cooler, Ø76 mm

The ButlerBuilt air vent is designed to capture and channel fresh air toward an oil cooler, heat exchanger, or any component requiring forced cooling. Its wide inlet, measuring approximately 146 x 279 mm, captures airflow from the front of the vehicle, while its Ø76.2 mm (3") connection allows for the attachment of aeration ducting.

This air scoop is particularly well-suited for building a cooling system on a race car or modified vehicle. When installed behind a bumper opening, a radiator grille, or another area exposed to airflow, it draws in outside air and directs it to the component that needs cooling.

In particular, it can be used to supply fresh air to an oil cooler. The 76.2 mm connection facilitates the installation of ducting using suitable aeration ducting when the cooler cannot be positioned directly in front of a body opening.

Its universal design also allows it to be used for other cooling needs requiring a ducted air supply. Made of black molded plastic, it is suitable for installation on rally cars, track cars, hill climb cars, or other competition vehicles.
