Cartek FIA 8874-2019 Rectangular LED rain light, Steady and Indicator Light

The Cartek rectangular LED rain light is designed for rear signaling on competition vehicles. Approved under FIA standard 8874-2019, it features 15 red LEDs and operates in steady-on or 4 Hz indicator light mode, depending on the selected electrical connection.

Its one-piece resin construction and IP65 protection rating make it suitable for use in racing conditions. Its compact design allows for horizontal or vertical mounting, secured with two M6 rear studs.

Mounting and Wiring

Secure the light using the two M6 studs and the foam gasket, without exceeding a tightening torque of 7 Nm. Make the connection according to the Cartek manual, depending on the desired lighting mode.

Prolonged operation in steady-on mode may cause the light to become hot to the touch. For installation near the exhaust, Cartek recommends using only the 4 Hz indicator light mode.
