The ITG Large foam air filter sock for Maxogen JC60 cotton filters fits around the main filter element to provide additional protection against dust and contaminants. This Large version, manufacturer part number JC60PFOSLC, is designed for several ITG Maxogen JC60 conical filters with pleated cotton elements.
Also known as an air filter protective sleeve, this foam sleeve acts as a pre-filter. It traps some of the particles before they reach the main filter element directly. Its use is particularly beneficial when the intake is heavily exposed to dust.
The pre-filter thus helps limit clogging of the main filter and allows for longer intervals between cleaning and re-oiling. The removable sleeve can be taken out separately during induction system maintenance.
The JC60PFOSLC Large version is compatible with several Maxogen JC60 filter configurations, whether they feature an aluminum base or a rubber flange.
