Revotec Adjustable Thermocontact Kit, Ø28 mm, y for 12V 30A fan

The Revotec Ø28 mm adjustable thermocontact kit for 12V electric fans automates the operation of the cooling fan based on the engine coolant temperature. Installed directly on the upper radiator hose, this electronic controller is suitable for the cooling systems of cars, race cars, 4x4s, and SSVs.

With an adjustable activation temperature ranging from 70 to 120°C, the fan can be controlled according to the engine’s needs and the cooling system’s configuration. Once the selected threshold is reached, the electric fan starts automatically. It stops when the temperature drops 3°C below the activation threshold.

Since the temperature is measured directly in contact with the cooling fluid, this Revotec adjustable hose-mounted thermocontact offers a practical solution for retrofitting a vehicle with an electric fan, replacing an existing control system, or complementing a custom cooling mounting.

The controller features an aluminum housing that fits into the upper coolant hose of the system. The complete kit includes a 700 mm wiring harness, a 30A relay, two hose clamps, and the necessary mounting accessories. Installation instructions are also available on this page.

Designed to operate at 12V with a negative ground, the system controls the fan via a 30A relay. The maximum current of the fan connected to the controller must not exceed 30A.

Important for choosing the correct diameter: the 28 mm diameter corresponds to the outside diameter of the Revotec controller and, therefore, to the inner diameter of the hose that will be mounted on it. Check the inner diameter of your upper radiator hose before ordering.
