The BG Racing high-temperature air sheath is designed to channel hot or cold air in motorsports applications. Resistant to temperatures ranging from -70 °C to +300 °C, it is particularly suitable for cooling brakes and the engine, as well as for induction systems and ventilation.

Its double-layer construction of silicone-coated fiberglass is reinforced with a spring steel wire spiral. This design combines flexibility with structural integrity, making it easy to route the sheath through an engine compartment, behind a bumper, or to mechanical components requiring airflow.

Air Duct for Brake and Engine Cooling

In racing and sports driving, this sheath can be used to channel fresh air from an air vent to the brakes to aid in their cooling. It is also suitable for engine ventilation, intake manifolds, and, more generally, for transferring hot or cold air at low pressure.

Its smooth inner surface promotes airflow by minimizing flow disturbances. The truss helps maintain the sheath’s cross-sectional area when it must follow a curved path.
