ButlerBuilt air vent for bumpers, Ø76 mm

The ButlerBuilt air scoop is designed to be mounted on a bumper to draw in outside air and direct it to a component requiring a supply of fresh air. Its 76.2 mm diameter outlet allows for the connection of aeration ducting to easily create an air duct system on a race car or modified vehicle.

This air vent can be used, in particular, for brake cooling. Mounted on the front bumper, it draws in fresh air and directs it through a sheath to the brake rotors and the braking system to improve ventilation.

It can also serve as an air vent for the engine. The sheath connected to the air scoop then directs air from outside the vehicle to the air box, air filter, or induction system, depending on the mounting configuration.

The scoop’s outlet is offset to the side, a practical design when the available space behind the bumper requires a specific duct routing. Its 3-inch diameter (76.2 mm) corresponds to a diameter commonly used for aeration ducting in motorsports.

Made of black plastic, the air scoop measures approximately 349 x 152 mm. Its universal design allows it to be integrated into various mountings on a rally car, circuit car, hillclimb car, or modified vehicle.
